Manchester United will host Everton in a pre-season friendly on Saturday and it’s your final chance to see the players before next weekend’s Premier League opener against Leeds United.
The match will be the squad’s final warm-up fixture of the summer and will provide an important fitness test.
There are COVID fears with Dean Henderson as well as late returns from players on extended summer breaks, so as things stand I would argue this pre-season has been far from ideal. But there is no comparison to the dire circumstances of last season when the players had no pre-season whatsoever.
