Supercomputer predicts 4th place finish in Premier League for Manchester United

Manchester City will win the Premier League title again this coming season, according to a data-based prediction.

A supercomputer has backed Pep Guardiola’s side to come out on top again, winning a second back-to-back title under the former Barcelona coach.

Betting Expert’s supercomputer reckons while City win the league, Chelsea finish in second and Liverpool will end the campaign in third place.

Manchester United are predicted to finish in fourth.

“Manchester City are hard to look past as title winners once again, so it’s no surprise that our supercomputer has them to top the pile,” said a spokesperson from Betting Expert, as per Manchester Evening News.

“Chelsea, after last season’s drastic improvement and Champions League success, are predicted to run City closest, while Liverpool and Manchester United make up the top four.

“At the other end of the table, the newly-promoted trio of Norwich, Watford and Brentford are expectred to find the step up too difficult.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were runners-up last season and have dramatically imporved their squad with additions such as Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane this summer.

It would be a huge set-back if United were to fall off the pace to fourth.

Our focus now must be on starting the season strongly because we didn’t do that last term. Although you can’t claim the title in the opening few months of the season, you can be left behind and United cannot afford that.
