According to reports breaking in France, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is close to agreeing to terms with Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain.
That’s according to a recent report from Canal, who claims the French midfielder is wanted in Paris by Mauricio Pochettino.
This summer’s transfer window is likely to prove decisive for Pogba, 28, who only has 12-months left on his current deal with the Red Devils.
Extremely unlikely to allow their World Cup winner to move on for free this time next year, United’s hierarchy knows they will need to find a solution quickly.
With no renewal yet reached and very little talk of one being in the works, the latest in the ongoing saga comes from Canal Supporters, who claims the Frenchman’s camp is close to reaching an agreement with Paris-Saint Germain.
Of course, should these reports prove to be accurate, the Ligue 1 giants will still need to agree a suitable transfer fee with United.
However, as things currently stand, a move for Pogba this summer is looking increasingly more likely.
