Inter Milan have become the latest club to make their interest known in Manchester United full-back Alex Telles.

Having been trying to secure a new left-back for quite some time, the Nerazzurri, who have also looked at Chelsea duo Emerson and Marcos Alonso, have now turned their attention to United’s Telles.

Despite only joining the club last summer, the sudden resurgence of form in Luke Shaw has seen the Brazilian resigned to barely anything more than a bench role.

After starting just eight Premier League matches throughout the course of last season, game time for Telles has been few and far between.

Aware of the player’s desire to feature more, StrettyNews understands that Serie A champions Inter Milan are now looking to capitalise.

We can exclusively reveal that the Italian club has recently made contact with the Red Devils and asked about the possibility of signing Telles, initially on loan, but with the proposed deal containing a future buy option.

Although United have yet to inform the Milan-based club of their decision, we have been advised from a close club source that the player has made his game time wishes known.

Unfortunately for the South American, despite wanting reassurances he’ll see more minutes next season, the Red Devils have informed the player that Shaw is undroppable and he should expect to maintain a similar role among the squad.
