According to recent reports, Manchester United are in ‘no rush’ to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga but could be set to pursue Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella instead.
Camavinga has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford some quite some time, however, with Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain also understood to be in the mix, signing the Frenchman will not be a straightforward task.
The latest in the ongoing saga surrounding the Red Devils’ pursuit of Camavinga comes from The Athletic, who claims the club are only in ‘tentative talks’ with Rennes.
However, most interestingly, these reports have emerged at the same time reports in Italy have suggested the club may have turned their attention to Inter Milan midfielder Barella instead.
According to La Repubblica, relayed by FC Inter News, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool is ready to offer the Nezzuarri £60m (€70m) for the talented playmaker with United understood to be ‘thinking about’ making an offer too.
