Man United cool interest in Camavinga as reports emerge of possible £60m offer for Inter Milan star

According to recent reports, Manchester United are in ‘no rush’ to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga but could be set to pursue Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella instead.

Camavinga has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford some quite some time, however, with Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain also understood to be in the mix, signing the Frenchman will not be a straightforward task.

The latest in the ongoing saga surrounding the Red Devils’ pursuit of Camavinga comes from The Athletic, who claims the club are only in ‘tentative talks’ with Rennes.

However, most interestingly, these reports have emerged at the same time reports in Italy have suggested the club may have turned their attention to Inter Milan midfielder Barella instead.

According to La Repubblica, relayed by FC Inter News, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool is ready to offer the Nezzuarri £60m (€70m) for the talented playmaker with United understood to be ‘thinking about’ making an offer too.

  1. CAMAVINGA is a generational talent. In a couple of years he will be one of the best in the world. Solskjaer would be making a huge mistake not to sign him. Barela is not on the same level.

ole should sign him, he will be great addition to United midfield

  4. Its obvious most people rarely watch these players and just go with the hype. Barella is at least 7 times the player camavinga is. Barella just had a very good season winning the league with inter and the euros with italy, while vinga regressed into an average season with Rennes and a very disappointing outing with the french u21s at the euros where he was one of the worst performers in the tournament. Stop reading media hypes and actually watch games.
