Although the tail-end of Manchester United’s season was disappointing for many, several youngsters were given the chance to impress as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rotated his squad due to a congested fixture list.
Anthony Elanga, who had impressed for the academy sides, started two of United’s final four games and scored on the final day of the season against Wolverhampton.
It was one of the success stories in the final weeks of the campaign and the 19-year-old was also given a first call-up to Sweden’s U21 team, a grand feat for the young winger.

During the off-season, the teenager has been seen being put through tough training sessions in a bid to return to pre-season in the best possible shape and a new video is now circulating on social media.
Elanga, who is expected to be involved in Solskjaer’s pre-season plans this summer, can be seen doing target practice as well as perfecting his ball control. With many first-team regulars granted an extended vacation due to international commitments, the young Swede will be hoping to make a lasting impression on the manager this summer.
