Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford has quickly deleted a tweet suggesting the Three Lions, who are now through to the Euros’ quarter-finals, are thinking about the possibility of winning the tournament.
The United man, who failed to feature for his country during their most recent match against bitter-rivals Germany, has shared an image of himself pictured with Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling.
Tuesday’s game against Germany saw the Three Lions defeat arch-rivals Germany following a 2-0 dismantling.
Reacting to the squad’s excellent result, which signalled an end to 55 long years of losing major matches against the Germans, Rashford posted the photo, with a caption that said: “Boy band vibes. Debut single ‘it’s coming home’ dropping soon.”

The striker has since re-uploaded the image with a new caption, this time reading: “My guys.”
