Manchester United are not short of potential suitors in League Two for Nathan Bishop.
The young goalkeeper is on the radar of Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United, Exeter City and Oldham Athletic, as per the Oldham Times.
Bishop, 21, is expected to be loaned out by Manchester United this summer and has no shortage of interest in his services. Although it’s a few divisions down from the Premier League, a loan spell at League Two level could give the young goalie a taste of regular first team football. After all, the England youth international started his career at Southend United.
Mansfield Town are said to be winning the race for his signature, with plans to complete his signing next season.
He will be edging to get more experience next season and he won’t be getting anywhere near the United first-team just yet. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a decision to make on his first choice keeper because switching between Dean Henderson and David de Gea is unsustainable.
