The two Manchester clubs have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Jack Grealish after it was revealed that the winger would be staying put at Aston Villa this summer. Grealish has emerged as one of the stars in the Premier League but is now set for another season at Villa Park.

That’s according to Ashley Preece of the Birmingham Mail, who claims that despite rumours about Grealish’s future, the 25-year-old won’t be joining another club in this window.

The journalist claims that no bid has been made and that Grealish is ‘the boy for Villa’ next season, in a gutting blow to Manchester United and Manchester City.

Jack Grealish was earmarked as a transfer target this month, as revealed by StrettyNews, and it is also believed that Pep Guardiola is keen to make him the latest big-money signing at the Etihad.
