Phoebe Hollin, 17, has been played as right back in the Manchester United Under 21 women’s team for two years but she will now travel to Temple University in Philadelphia where she has received a full scholarship to study a degree in Kinesiology, a sports science course, as well play in the NCAA Division 1 League.
Speaking about the move, Phoebe said (via The Oldham Times): “There’s a few players I know that have done it and they say it’s the best experience and really good for your development.
“On the football side of things over here it’s more technical but over there it’s more physical, so I can master the physical aspect of my game there and then come back in four years and hopefully be a more rounder player.”

It sounds like Phoebe has her career set out for her and we hope it all comes into place, with a move back to United in the future.
Relocating to America is a big step for the teenager.
