‘No total agreement yet’ – Confidence growing around Sancho to United deal

Everyone is waiting for updates on Jadon Sancho’s potential switch to Manchester United.

Reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano rarely disappoints and he believes talks between United, Borussia Dortmund and Sancho’s representatives are still ongoing.

However, there is confidence and optimism growing around the deal, which wasn’t the case last summer when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the right winger his prime target.

Romano adds that the payment structure and adds have yet to be resolved between the two clubs, so there is no total agreement yet.

This comes almost a week after the Manchester Evening News claimed Sancho’s camp expect the winger to join United even though an initial bid was rejected by Dortmund.

That bid was believed to be worth £67m — approximately £10m shy of Dortmund’s up front asking price for Sancho.

It feels like it’s only a matter of time before Solskjaer gets his man and it will be a welcome addition to the squad. Most of our attacks came down the left flank last season, but finally we could have someone on the right with the ability to threaten opponents like Marcus Rashford does on the opposite wing.
