Gary Neville criticises newly leaked Manchester United shirt

during the Premier League match between Manchester City and Chelsea at Etihad Stadium on March 4, 2018 in Manchester, England.

Gary Neville isn’t a fan of the new leaked Manchester United home shirt for next season.

To be honest, I think Adidas have done worse in previous years than what has been leaked as next season’s home shirt.

But Neville isn’t a fan because he doesn’t see the heritage behind it and we agree it’s a bit basic.

Neville tweeted: “I tend to love every United home kit but I don’t like this one at all! ( if it is the home kit ) Am I being harsh? Sponsor isn’t right, arms aren’t right and just feels basic without tapping into heritage. Agree or not”

Like I said previously though, the players could run around with plastic bags on their head like Blindboy for all I care, as long as we are entertained with good football next term.

The ugly sleeve sponsor is only going to add further damage to how new kits look, and it won’t be long before they throw a sponsor or two on the shorts.

Modern football, eh?

At this moment in time, I am more concerned about who will be wearing the new shirt rather than what it will look like.

There’s no trophy for best shirt and we’ve had an awful Chevrolet logo on the shirt for years.

Let’s see if this new sponsor can help fund deals such as Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane this summer. That’s what I would like to see.
