Borussia Dortmund’s local newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten are reliable when it comes to the transfer market, and they are claiming there’s been movement in the Jadon Sancho race.
BVB are demanding ‘around’ €95m for a base transfer fee, plus bonuses, and that’s not negotiable. The Bundesliga outfit played hard ball over Sancho a year ago, so they won’t be letting him go too easy this summer.
A bid arrived ‘a few days ago,’ and it’s ‘being considered’. These claims have been backed up by Bundesliga expert and former Norwegian footballer Jan Aage Fjortoft.
Fjortoft also says a serious bid is being considered — while citing Ruhr Nachrichten.
Re Sancho
This morning, the local paper in Dortmund, Ruhr Nachrichten, reporting there has been “movement” in the Sancho-story.
I understand a serious bid is considered.

Whatever happens I hope it’s wrapped up shortly. We could do without another dragged out transfer saga because the manager needs to know how much money will be left over to sign a new centre-back.
The likes of Raphael Varane and Jules Kounde won’t come cheap, not to mention Pau Torres at Villarreal who should be another option on the list.
