The worst kept secret of all time, United pursuit of Jadon Sancho, is getting closer to completion, according to reports. The young Dortmund winger is away with England for this summers European Championships but is the subject of a constant speculation.

All parties are reportedly keen to get a deal done before England play their first game of the tournament but with an agreement yet to come, any conclusion in the short term seems unlikely.

But according to Norwegian journalist and Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft, a deal is getting closer. The former Premier League footballer is well sources within the German clubs and has claimed that there has been developments.

Personal terms with Jadon Sancho’s representatives were agreed early last summer but a deal collapsed when United balked at Dortmund’s €120m valuation of the winger. United have reopened talks with Sancho’s entourage and are reportedly hopeful of reaching an agreement again.

Borussia Dortmund are believed to be demanding €90m for their star man, a figure United will believe they can drive down once again but will be reluctant to wait another 12 months, with fans already growing impatient once again.
