It will be an open race for Jadon Sancho’s signature.

The only positive for now is that Manchester United appear to be involved in the race to sign the talented English winger.

However, according to respected Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, no official talks or bid yet and it’s still an ‘open race’ which suggests there will be more than one club actively pursuing a deal.

Meanwhile a report from The Sun states Chelsea could try to beat United to Sancho by making an offer of around £80m. The report adds that manager Thomas Tuchel rates Sancho highly, and he’d certainly be an upgrade on Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and give Chelsea more of a chance of challenging for the title next season.

But forget that a moment. Sancho could bring the same to the table at Old Trafford and we’ve managed a higher finish in the table than the blues.

Sancho is thought to be keen on returning to the Premier League, as per The Sun, as the former Man City youngster wishes to be closer to his family.
