Paul Pogba holds Palestine flag with Manchester United team-mate

Manchester United duo Paul Pogba and Amad Diallo held a Palestine flag after Tuesday’s 1-1 draw against Fulham.

It was the first time this season that fans were allowed to attend a match at Old Trafford, with around 10,000 in attendance following the easing of coronavirus restrictions in the UK.

After the match, United midfielder Pogba collected a Palestine flag and was joined on the pitch by team-mate Amad. Both players were showing solidarity with the Palestinian people amid the horror inflicted by Israel.

Manchester United blogger Scott Patterson was at the ground and got video footage (via Twitter) of Pogba and Amad holding the Palestine flag, as seen below:

Over 200 people in Palestine have been killed in the air strikes since May 10 which sees fighting reach new levels of intensity not seen since 2014.

Pogba and Amad are not the only Premier League stars to show their support for Palestine. Leicester City pair Hamza Choudhury and Wesley Fofana waved a Palestine flag at Wembley following an FA Cup final triumph over Chelsea on Saturday.
