Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho after it has been reported that the Englishman now wants out of Germany.

Sancho, 21, has been a long-standing target for United – despite failing to capture him during last summer’s transfer window, the Red Devils look set to try again this year.

Widely regarded as one of Europe’s most prolific and talented young attackers, Sancho is undoubtedly drawing the interest of some of the sport’s biggest clubs.

Although there have been recent suggestions that the likes of Liverpool are also interested in the England international, it is without a doubt United who are leading the charge.

With the summer window set to open in a few weeks, according to a recent report from MEN, Sancho is now actively pushing for Borussia Dortmund to allow him to leave.

It has been claimed that the 21-year-old was left bitterly disappointed with his agent Emeka Obasi last summer for failing to secure him a move to Old Trafford.

Irrespective of that though, the Red Devils’ hierarchy appear determined to land their man this time around.

Although the club’s decision-makers saw a last-minute £91.3m bid rejected by Dortmund last summer (as per Sky Sports), according to BILD (via Sports Witness), the club are prepared to pay £77m once the summer window opens.
