Following his side’s successful second-half comeback against Aston Villa during Sunday afternoon’s Premier League match, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed his side’s sky-high fitness levels.
Despite putting in a decent performance, concerns would have been raised after Dean Smith’s men took the lead after just 24-minutes.
However, a stunning second-half performance with help from goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani ensured the Red Devils ran out eventual 3-1 winners.
Speaking after the game, when asked for his thoughts on his side’s comeback, Solskjaer said: “I can’t blame them.
“The advantage of being fresh going into a game like this is quite high […] I’m pleased with everyone.
“I know how hard it towards the end of a long, long season.”
