Major concern for Harry Maguire means fans could see Bruno Fernandes lift major trophy

During Sunday’s Premier League match against Aston Villa, Manchester United captain Harry Maguire endured an untimely injury.

Despite completing an impressive second-half comeback, United, who ran out eventual 3-1 winners, will see their celebrations hampered by concerns over their captain’s recent injury.

In what was another fine performance from the club’s captain, Maguire was seen hobbling off after picking up an unfortunate injury.

Since the match, worrying news has reached fans which could see Maguire’s availability for the remainder of the season thrown into doubt, including a Europa League final against Villarreal.

United have just four Premier League left to play before they face Villarreal for a chance to lift the illustrious Europa League trophy in their last match of the season.

Although there has been no official word on the extent of Maguire’s injury, Times journalist Henry Winter offered fans an update.

Winter’s information makes for grim reading, however, looking for a silver lining, one fan has been quick to predict what fans could be treated to, should the side’s captain be unfortunate enough to miss out on featuring against Villarreal later this month.
