Look what we can achieve when we all pull together!
According to reports breaking on Tuesday evening, Chelsea is set to become the first club to withdraw from the European Super League.
Fans have been fiercely voicing their discontent at plans for six of the Premier League’s biggest (wealthiest) clubs to form a breakaway league.
Those concerns have been best echoed by the current scenes outside of Stamford Bridge where hundreds of fans can be seen protesting against their club’s owners.
In fact, such has been the anger building at Chelsea, that former goalkeeper Petr Cech was even forced to come out and personally address fans.

Bruce Buck was called in shortly after the news broke on Sunday where he addressed the entire Chelsea men’s senior first team.
He was met with severe opposition and discontent.
Chelsea are also considering their position within the proposed Super League.

And according to Sky Sports News, the club is now in the process of drafting up legal paperwork which will trigger an exit from any proposed ‘Super League’.
Surely other clubs are now set to follow suit…
