Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is looking forward to the challenge of playing against ‘one of the best strikers in the world’ in Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Maguire will be tasked to keep Tottenham’s talisman quiet in North London this afternoon as United look avenge October’s humiliating 6-1 defeat to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made one change from last weekend’s Premier League victory over Brighton as United aim to solidify second place.
Maguire’s form has improved in recent weeks but he will be tested against prolific Kane, who has the most goals and assists of any player in the league this term.
The England international was asked about October’s Old Trafford embarrassment and explained how United have progressed since that nadir.
United would go 14 points ahead of Mourinho’s Spurs with victory this afternoon.
