Manchester United have been dealt an unfortunate injury blow following the news striker Anthony Martial picked up an injury while away on international duty.
Having featured for Didier Deschamps’ France team during the most recent set of international fixtures, Martial has returned to Manchester strapped in a knee brace.
News that the Frenchman is now set to miss the rest of the season was confirmed ahead of the Red Devils’ match against Brighton on Sunday by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Not great news ahead of a crucial run-in, which includes the latter stages of the Europa League.
