Bruno Fernandes has revealed the favourite Premier League goal he has scored so far for Manchester United.

United’s totemic midfielder asked for questions for a social media Q and A on Thursday before proceeding to answer a select few.

Fernandes already has 24 Premier League goals for United, just over 14 months after arriving from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.

His impact on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side has been monumental and he had a number of classy options to decipher when considering this question from the official Premier League Twitter page.

Rather than the glorious counter-attack goal away to Newcastle or the stunning curled effort against Everton in the 3-3 home draw, Fernandes opted for his fine headed-effort against the Toffees in a 3-1 win on Merseyside in November.

United came from behind to beat Carlo Ancelotti’s side, when the pressure was reaching breaking point on boss Solskjaer following a bleak run of form.

Fernandes’ goal was preceded by great team play, with Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata both involved before the 26-year-old picked out the top corner from Luke Shaw’s pin-point cross.

The Portuguese playmaker will no doubt he can eclipse that important goal in United’s nine remaining league fixtures this season.
