Marcus Rashford names Man United legend he’d loved to have played with most

Marcus Rashford was keeping Manchester United fans entertained on Monday evening with a Twitter Q&A session.

Rashford is currently at home recovering from injury after withdrawing from the England squad for their March World Cup qualifiers.

The United star regularly interacts with his 4.3 million Twitter followers and Monday’s Q&A session sprung some interesting answers.

Rashford was asked by a fan to choose any player from past or present he’d liked to have played with and it was unsurprising to see the 23-year-old opt for a United great.

He replied ‘would love to play in front of Scholesy’.

Rashford’s great admiration for Scholes was further clarified when he named him and Barcelona legend Andreas Iniesta as the best midfielders of all time.

The academy graduate grew up watching Scholes in his prime for United and there’s little argument that he was one of the best players of his generation.

Scholes ended his illustrious United career with 11 Premier League titles, three FA Cups and two Champions League winners medals.
