Indispensable under Solskjaer and reasonably solid defensively without showing much ambition in attack. 6

Culpable for lack of urgency in Kessie’s disallowed stunner but made several good recoveries. Expect Victor Lindelof to return on Sunday. 6
Harry Maguire
Poor at both ends in first-half and it was harder to miss from a yard out. Became more comfortable after the break. 5

Not as effective as Luke Shaw but didn’t have problems in left centre-back position when Solskjaer changed system. 5
Scott McTominay
Fortunate to escape second yellow card and wasn’t lively presence in attack. McTominay seems to thrive more alongside Fred. 5

One of three guilty of ball-watching from throw-in as United were reprieved early on. Couldn’t provide impetus as the Reds lost the midfield battle. 4

Exquisite pass to Amad was his first meaningful involvement but so important. Brought off early and reserved for West Ham fixture. 6

Moved to number nine after Martial’s injury and well dealt with by Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori despite some bright moments. 5

United missed Rashford’s direct threat on the left and he missed second sitter of the evening after good link up play between Amad and Greenwood. 4

Forced save with superb left-footed volley early on but influence wained. His injury will be a concern. 6
