Manchester United’s recruitment team has reportedly ignited their interest in Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Skriniar, 26, joined Inter Milan in 2017 following a £30.6m move from domestic rivals Sampdoria.
During his four years with the Nerazzurri, the commanding centre-back has featured in 155 matches, in all competitions
Since joining the Italian giants, the Slovakian defender has enjoyed an impressive rise to the top of European football, which has been amplified by his side’s recent title charge.
Looking to end their 11 year long Serie A drought, Inter Milan’s attacking prowess along with their resilient defensive back-line has gone a long way to seeing them become this season’s odds-on-favourite to claim domestic gold.
Despite being one of Antonio Conte’s mainstays after being named in 20 league matches, so far this season, it wasn’t too long ago that the 26-year-old was linked with a move to the Premier League.
Leading football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported last year that the Slovakian defender had emerged as a target for Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur.

However, after failing to agree on a move for the centre-back, according to a recent report from FC Inter News, it could now be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils who are looking to pounce.
The report claims that United and Chelsea are both interested in the Inter Milan star who is rumoured to be valued at around £43m.
However, it has also been stated that despite the strong interest in him, the defender, at the moment, remains happy in Milan.
