Confirmed Man United XI vs Crystal Palace: Dean Henderson and Edinson Cavani start

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has included Dean Henderson and Edinson Cavani in his Manchester United starting lineup to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

United could be third before their fixture against the Eagles kicks off and will be aiming to reconsolidate second place in the Premier League.

But Palace defeated the Reds at Old Trafford on the opening day and Roy Hodgson’s side will be hungry for a league double.

Solskjaer has made four changes to the side that drew to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for this evening’s encounter.

Henderson is given a rare start in the league and has a chance to impress ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday.

The England goalkeeper is protected by a back four of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.

Fred and Nemanja Matic make up the midfield axis behind a strong attacking quartet of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Cavani.

Cavani hasn’t played since the draw against West Brom last month but is back leading the line for the Reds this evening.

United’s bench includes Amad, Shola Shoretire and Daniel James.
