Senior figures at Manchester United are reportedly open to receiving serious offers for striker Anthony Martial.

Martial, 25, joined United in 2015 after making a £54m switch from French side Monaco.

After his huge transfer prompted the British press to deem him a ‘waste of money’ before he’d even kicked a ball for his new club, Martial was always destined to become a fan-favourite – Admittedly, a goal on his debut against Liverpool helped.

During his near six-year stay at Old Trafford, the French forward has featured in over 250 matches and has scored 78 goals, in all competitions.

However, a recent slump has seen the goals dry up for the 25-year-old. After netting just seven times in 32 matches, so far this season, Martial’s goal drought is becoming a real cause for concern.

According to a recent report from Eurosport, senior club officials have run out of patience in their French forward and are now willing to let him leave, should a suitable offer come in.

The outlet hint that offloading Martial could be key in the Red Devils finally securing Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

Do you think it’s time Martial moved on or would you like to see him stay at the club? – Let us know in the comments.

    1. No, many prayers experience a dry Spell someone. Remember Rukaku was released in the same matter. But look at what
      he is offering Inter Milan.

  1. He is not a No9 player, more a wide player perhaps what we used to call and inside right or inside left. A talent that by now should be the finished article but he is not. United have players coming through now and the money they get for him could be invested in an out and out No9.

    1. Agree with Derek D,we need KANE or HAALAND to get back to where we were and challenge city and L/pool for the PREM,we are just has beens”at the moment and we need push on and win some Trophies sooner rather than laster .

  2. Oui” its time for Le Sulk” to pack his bags and move on,apart from being bloody miserable hes incredibly lazy too.Never to track back or help his teamates out,Tony has become moody and shotshy”whatever his position is, blimey even Dan James is scoring more than him these days, and THAT is a proper Miracle and then some !

  3. False to say he is a fans favourite whilst appreciating a high level of skill I have always questioned his attitude. I also resent the fact Marcus Rashford is always forced out of his best position on the left for someone who is far less effective.

  4. I think Utd need to finally prove they are a big club and start acting like the biggest club in the world. Sell Jesse, Matic. DONNY, Martial, Dalot, Mata and if Pogba does not sign a new deal sell him too and maybe Degea then bring in Haaland, Sancho, Rice and Milinkovic and if Pogba leaves bring in Grealish. I really can’t understand how a club like Utd struggle to hard to buy and sell players and hve to do one deal at a time.

  5. Manutd should offload the following:
    1.Martial,Lingard,Dallot,Matic,Mata,Pogba,Jones,Bailly.
    Manutd should buy the following:
    1.Earling Haland,Jagaerish,Sancho,Kunde, Rice,Milkovic & one right back.
    Note: Martial,Pogba,Jones,Bailly must go

  6. He must bugger off, if he was still in the game it would be different but you hardly see him or hear of him. The only time you hear his name is after he misses a goal 😠😠😠

  7. Patience is a virtue worth having. He has seen his bad days, but he will be better. Think about lukaku and think again

    1. How much time does he need to impress he is lazy in no9 position, he should play as a substitute perhaps he can improve from there….his movements in that position is so bad

  8. I wouldn’t have been bothered about his goal drought had he not been this lazy. He’s just too lazy to remain in the team and frustrate the efforts of hard-working players. Sell him without delay.

  9. How do you expect a player who is consistently being racially abused to perform…racism in football must stop…for it dampen the spirit of the players to perform.
