Man United on red alert following Daniel Levy’s shock Spurs admission

Manchester United, along with several other top clubs, will have been put on red alert if a recent report from Football Insider is anything to go by. According to the outlet’s claims, Spurs’ chairman Daniel Levy is set to sell a first-team star, even if the side qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Spurs, like every other club are feeling the financial repercussions the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic are having, however, with their brand-new stadium still being paid for and sitting empty, it’s no wonder the London based club are feeling the pinch more than most.

Football Insider have shockingly claimed that Levy is preparing to offload at least one of his side’s big named stars.

Spurs fans will be praying they do not lose either one of Harry Kane or Son Heung-min, however, given their credentials and age, they’re perhaps the two prime candidates to help ease financial strains.

Other candidates include goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and out-of-favour Dele Alli, however, given their respective age and lack of game-time, it goes without saying, neither player will generate the same kind of fees Kane and Son would.

United have been linked with Kane for several seasons now but should Levy really look to offload his star-man, surely United will up their interest.

However, given the fact the English forward is widely regarded as one of football’s most prolific and well-rounded marksman, the Red Devils are certain not to be alone.
