On Saturday we mourn those who lost their lives in the Munich Air Disaster.
Sadly due to the ongoing restrictions, tomorrow’s remembrance activities will be very different though the same message will be sent out to the world.
The traditional ceremony under the Munich memorial clock won’t be going ahead because people are unable to gather. However, if you keep an eye on the club’s media they will be shared a pre-recorded version of a service from that area of the ground.
The service has been co-ordinated by Munich58, a fan group, which will be led by Reverend John Boyers.
According to United’s official website, the first screening of the service will begin at 14:55 GMT on Saturday. It will consist of prayers, poems and songs, including the rendition of The Flowers of Manchester which can be heard below.
A minute silence will be heard at 15:04 GMT.
The club is asking fans not to attend Old Trafford tomorrow — instead they will be broadcasting the service on MUTV, ManUtd.com, their Official App or Facebook page.
Black armbands will be worn on Saturday against Everton and there will be a minute’s silence before kick-off at 20:00 GMT.
