Roy Keane joked over his indecisiveness when asked whether Manchester United are serious Premier League title challengers after they kept top spot with a 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
United had the better of the chances on Merseyside and could have come away with victory had Bruno Fernandes or Paul Pogba capitalised on good openings.
But after a resolute defensive showing, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side remain three points ahead of Liverpool and two points ahead of Leicester City in second.
Much has been written about United’s title credentials this season and the draw at Anfield won’t have discouraged supporters that there is a distinct possibility almost halfway through the league campaign.
United great Keane believes Solskjaer should be pleased with his side’s efforts against Jurgen Klopp’s champions.
But he was then asked by fellow pundit Micah Richards about United’s title challenges and admitted:
‘I don’t know I change my mind every few weeks, every few minutes’.
