Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has given his thoughts on Harry Maguire’s disallowed goal against Burnley during Tuesday night’s Premier League clash.
Pogba, who was awarded with Sky Sports’ Man of the Match after a simply superb performance saw the Frenchman’s strike gift his side with the game’s winning goal.
However, the scoreline arguably could have been 2-0 to United after captain Maguire saw a first-half header ruled out for a foul on the Burnley defence.
Speaking after the match, Pogba has admitted that Maguire’s header should have stood.
I think it’s safe to say, most people can agree with him on this one.
“We got the result we wanted so we’re happy.”
