Loads of Man Utd fans react as Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani start vs Burnley

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani in his Manchester United starting lineup to face Burnley at Turf Moor this evening.

United can go top of the Premier League if they avoid defeat in a game of huge significance heading into Sunday’s Anfield showdown with title rivals Liverpool.

Sean Dyche’s Burnley have won three of their last five league games and will provide a stern test in a decisive week for Solskjaer’s side.

The Norwegian boss made nine changes for the uninspiring FA Cup third round win over Watford on Saturday but has unsurprisingly brought back in his big guns this evening.

David de Gea returns in goal after Dean Henderson’s first Old Trafford clean sheet last weekend.

The Spaniard is protected by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw in defence.

Maguire is one booking away from suspension from the Liverpool game but Solskjaer has been adamant not to rest his captain for that reason.

Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic will partner up in a less familiar midfield axis with Scott McTominay and Fred both benched.

Indispensable Bruno Fernandes is back in the starting line-up after a rare rest against Watford.

Edinson Cavani has returned from his three-match ban and leads the line supported by Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
