Man United full-back makes WhoScored’s PL TOTW after display v Aston Villa

Arsenal and Tottenham dominate the latest WhoScored Premier League Team of the Week, but there’s room for one Manchester United player after a 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

The first player mentioned in the TOTW is Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez who made seven saves against the Red Devils. Still, he conceded two goals thanks to Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes.

Another player to get the nod from WhoScored is Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

In fact, he earned the WhoScored man of the match award in the same game — his first this season.

The right-back provided the assist for Martial’s opener. It’s no wonder when you see his statistics: three successful dribbles, four tackles and two interceptions.
