According to reports coming out of Italy, Manchester United’s new wonderkid Amad Diallo is expected to travel to Manchester on Monday.

Diallo, 18, who agreed to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils during the summer is now expected to complete his long-awaited transfer within the next 24 – 48 hours.

The former Atalanta attacker has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s most highly-rated attackers and as United continue in their impressive youth recruitment, Diallo is arguably the pick of the bunch.

Despite the transfer between United and Atalanta being agreed nearly six-months ago, Diallo was forced to remain in Italy until the January window due to work permit and passport complications.

However, as recently confirmed by Solskjaer, the paperwork and legal aspects of Diallo’s transfer now looks all but completed with the Red Devils expecting their new starlet to join any time now.

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport (via Sports Witness), United could welcome their new youngster as early as Monday.

The Italian outlet claim that the Reds’ new 18-year-old is expected to complete his transfer soon but expect Atalanta to still try and loan the starlet back on a short-term deal.

However, as we reported on Saturday, the Red Devils’ hierarchy have no intentions of entering into such discussions with Atalanta and will opt to reject any loan approaches.
