Wait… what? AC Milan legends giving advice to their rivals Inter Milan…
AC Milan legend Alessandro Costacurta believes Inter Milan should try to swap Christian Eriksen for Donny van de Beek.
Although Eriksen was a target for United once upon a time, it never happened and his spell in Italy has failed. There’s no way Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would take him now.
Costacurta somehow believes he could be swapped for Van de Beek.
He told Calciomercato: “Eriksen would be someone to exchange with someone who does not play in England, with Manchester United, Arsenal.
“Van de Beek, for excample, could be a good idea for Inter.”
Of course it would, but we’re not that stupid.
We’ve got to wait and see what happens with Paul Pogba over the coming months. I’ve been impressed by Van de Beek when he’s played and think he could have a greater role in the squad once the French World Cup winner leaves.
It’s only a matter of time, isn’t it?
But I find it very strange why Alessandro cares enough to comment on Inter Milan.
Am I missing something here?
