Video: The only time Man Utd lacked chemistry v Leeds was hilarious celebration blunder between James and Martial

We took a look back at the goals from yesterday’s 6-2 win over Leeds and noticed a funny incident after our third goal.

In the 19th minute, Daniel James intercepted a sloppy pass to spark a counter-attack for the Red Devils, playing the ball to team-mate Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes played the ball to Fred, who teed up Anthony Martial with a fine pass. The Frenchman was tackled only for the ball to spill towards Fernandes before he made it 3-0.

If you watch closely after the ball went in, James puts both arms out to celebrate with Martial but the Welshman was left hanging and instead wheeled off to the corner to celebrate with Fernandes.

It was one of few times on Sunday that we lacked chemistry on the pitch.

Hopefully there are more reasons to celebrate between now and the end of the season, but beating Leeds like that yesterday was a real thrill.

It was easy — but a helpful reminder to them about the level they’re playing at now.
