Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been included in NOW TV’s Team of the Season, so far.
Fernandes, 26, joined United in January from Sporting Lisbon in a deal which cost the Reds’ hierarchy £49.5m, as per Transfermarkt.
Since his arrival at Old Trafford less than 12-months ago, Fernandes has enjoyed a monumental effect on his side’s on-field fortunes.
It is almost impossible to say that anybody could have accurately predicted the instant impact Fernandes has had on this current United side.
After featuring in 42 matches in all competitions, the Portuguese attacking midfielder has already racked up a huge 40 direct goal contributions, in all competitions.
Domestically, Fernandes is on fire. The 26-year-old has lined-up for United in the Premier League on 27 different occasions and has been directly involved in a whopping 29 goals.
United’s number-18’s latest goal heroics came during the Red Devil’s 6-2 demolition of bitter rivals Leeds United on Sunday.
Fernandes, once again was one the scoresheet after bagging a brace and setting another up.
In light of the Portuguese Magnifico’s stunning 12-months in England’s top-flight, he has been named in NOW TV’s 2020-21 best 11 (so far).
