Video: Former Man United goalkeeper labels Mo Salah a ‘penalty merchant’

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster believes Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is a ‘penalty merchant’, the Watford star revealed on his increasingly popular YouTube channel.

The YouTube channel allows Foster to go through his Fantasy Premier League decisions every week. Listeners can decide for themselves if they want to take FPL advice from a former Premier League professional.

“Gabriel Jesus is my captain, I’m trying to save a bit of money because I want Salah back in the team, he’s just a penalty merchant and Liverpool get pennos all the time.”

Foster’s friends at Manchester United will undoubtedly enjoy his comment, even if it brings hoax outrageous to our Twitter timelines from Liverpool fans…

Salah has 11 Premier League goals to his name this season and five of those have come from penalties.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter how you score goals as long as they count. Some rival fans call Bruno Fernandes a penalty merchant but we know from watching him every week that there’s more to his game than spot kicks.
