Amad Diallo set to fly to Manchester in January to complete £36m move after successfully receiving passport

Amad Diallo will be a Manchester United player next month after it has been revealed by leading journalist Fabrizio Romano that the teenager has been given the green light to fly to Manchester.

Diallo, 18, is set to leave Serie A side Atalanta and embark on a mission to become one of United’s brightest attacking talents.

The Ivorian teenager has been turning the heads of some of Europe’s biggest suitors but it will be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side that the youngster turns out for after agreeing to join them during the summer, as per ManUtd.com.

Initial complications with the teenager’s passport and work permit meant the proposed transfer was delayed until at least the New Year.

However, good news finally awaits the United faithful after a recent report from Romano claimed the paperwork has now been finalised with Diallo finally set to fly to Manchester next month to complete his £36m (€40m) transfer.

It is not yet clear which role Diallo will play during his first six-months at United, but after already featuring for Atalanta’s first-team, it would be reasonable to assume it’s only a matter of time until the teenager breaks onto England’s scene.
