What a turnaround.
Edinson Cavani has completed the most incredible of Manchester United comebacks against Southampton at St Mary’s.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were 2-0 down at half-time but the substitution of Cavani has inspired a dramatic victory.
The Uruguayan striker scored a superb leveller with an instinctive header fifteen minutes from time after Bruno Fernandes halved the Reds’ deficit with a tidy finish.
Then, when it looked like United would be made to settle for a point, Cavani stole a march on Saints defender Jannik Vestergaard and nodded in Marcus Rashford’s cross for a superb winner.
What a substitution and what a comeback!
