Marcus Rashford has revealed he recently had the honour of speaking with Sir Alex Ferguson.
You may think because Rashford plays for United that access to Fergie would be a regular thing, but I highly doubt that is the case.
I’m sure Fergie happily lends a hand to Solskjaer, who would be silly not to take his advice, but that doesn’t mean he’s a regular around Carrington.
Rashford was so excited he took to Twitter to announce that he had the ‘best conversation’ with Fergie yesterday.
The forward tweeted: “I had the best conversation with Sir Alex today. I’m in awe of this man…”
In another tweet, Rashford added: “As a United fan, his words mean everything…”

We will probably never know what they talked about but I’m sure Fergie will be proud of the work Rashford has done on and off the field.
And looking back at the players we’ve had since Fergie’s retirement, I think Rashford is one he would like to work with.
Throw Bruno Fernandes in with Rashford but other than that, I doubt there are many players that have Fergie thinking he missed out on working with them. As sad as that sounds it’s likely true.
