AC Milan interested in a permanent deal for United’s Diogo Dalot

AC Milan have made up their mind to sign Diogo Dalot on a permanent deal, according to Italian reports.

The Manchester United full-back joined the Serie A giants at the start of the season, and will spend the remainder of the campaign at San Siro.

Dalot’s current loan deal does not offer Milan an option to sign the Portuguese speedster, so at least the player has a route back to Manchester but I’m sure the two clubs will find the time to negotiate if necessary.

He’s been doing well with Milan, too. In his first Europa League appearance for the club he scored a goal and registered an assist.

The story from Gazzetta dello Sport explains Milan intent to sit down with United and talk about the possibilities of signing Dalot after his loan deal expires.

Dalot, 21, has a bright future ahead of him but time will tell if that is at Old Trafford, San Siro or somewhere else.

There’s no way he will overtake Aaron Wan-Bissaka for a place in the starting line-up.
