Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Everton yesterday helped eased some of the mounting pressure on gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Norwegian has two midfielders to thank.
Undoubtedly, Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes will take all the plaudits for his two goals and assist yesterday, however, after yet another fine performance, Fred’s contributions continually go under the radar.
The industrious Brazilian midfielder is arguably in his best United form to date and there was no better game to back that claim up than yesterday’s Premier League match against Everton.
Fred not only provided necessary cover in all aspects of midfield and defence, the box-to-box midfielder showcased some fine vision with the best example being his second-half long range through-ball to striker Marcus Rashford.
What a ball.
