Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his starting XI to face Everton at Goodison Park.
The Norwegian is under pressure and he needs his Manchester United players to deliver against an Everton side that have started the Premier League season strongly.
He has gone for a back four again with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.
There’s no real surprise there and it comes down to these players putting in a strong performance. We know they can perform as they showed in games last season, but confidence is low and Solskjaer hasn’t got many other options.
Scott McTominay and Fred will be expected to take charge in the middle. They need to provide Bruno Fernandes and Juan Mata with quick balls to allow United transition quickly. Donny van de Beek is unlucky to miss out and Solskjaer has made a big call (and the right one) to drop Paul Pogba again.
Up front, Anthony Martial needs to work harder than he did against Istanbul. Marcus Rashford needs to be clinical.

Here are some of the best tweets reacting to United’s XI vs Everton:
It’s a strong lineup that’ll allow interchange between 3 formations during game.
Also, there’s more than enough, on the bench, to change things up if needed.

So many complains about the line up, but for me..
– Fred – Mctominay – Bruno partnership gives us both balance and energy.
– Pogba has been inconsistent for years, rightly dropped.
– the only slight issue I have is maybe VDB should’ve started ahead of Bruno due to fatigue. #MUFC— Adoke23 (@AdokeAminu) November 7, 2020
Pogba has done nothing to justify himself starting this game as of late

Solskjaer will be wanting a reaction from his players today. Let’s hope he gets one.
C’mon United!
