Video: Roy Keane’s reaction sums up Man United in dismal Arsenal defeat

Roy Keane’s immediate post-match reaction summed up Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal perfectly.

United, who should have been high in confidence after hammering RB Leipzig in midweek, were second best to Mikel Arteta’s men who are superior in every department.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the Arsenal winner midway through the second-half, after Paul Pogba inexplicably went to ground and felled Hector Bellerin in the box.

United had no answer and didn’t threaten Bernd Leno’s goal once in a showing that was devoid of energy and enthusiasm.

United great Keane said at full-time that he had not been carried away by United’s encouraging performances in Europe, but did expect the Reds to win at Old Trafford.

However, while Arsenal outplayed United, they did not actually need to be that impressive to defeat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.

Keane added that United were always going to find it difficult after starting the game so slowly.

The Reds now sit in 15th place in the Premier League with 7 points from six games, and have already lost three league home games.
