Manchester United were back to their absolute best last night after they thrashed Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig 5-0 in a performance which saw Marcus Rashford bag a second-half hattrick.

United dominated the game from start to finish and after a Mason Greenwood 20th-minute opening goal the Reds went on to net another four times.

Number-nine Anthony Martial successfully converted from the spot but the game’s highlight moments came from Rashford who bagged a superb hattrick after being substituted into the game with half-hour to go.

United’s rampant performance at Old Trafford last night sees them cruise to the top of the Champions League’s Group H table and are now joint top (with Barcelona) for most points and highest goal difference out of all 32 teams.

In light of the Reds’ 5-0 thumping, here is how some of the team’s players reacted.
