Bruno Fernandes’ elite movement on full display for Marcus Rashford’s hat-trick goal

Manchester United cruised to a 5-0 thumping victory over Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig during the Champions League second group stage match of the new 2020-21 season last night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won the tactical battle to see off counter-part and world-renown tinkering genius Julian Nagelsmann in a game which now sees United surge to the top of Group H’s table with six points from six.

An opening 20-minute goal from teenage sensation Mason Greenwood set the tone for United’s evening which was both a defensive and offensive masterclass.

A penalty spot-kick from Anthony Martial and a stunning second-half hattrick from substitute Marcus Rashford wrapped the Reds’ evening up and had fans been in attendance, would have seen Old Trafford absolutely rocking.

Rashford sealed his hattrick in the 92nd-minute and one player who’s role in the Englishman’s goal will go under the radar is United’s Portuguese Magnifico.

Having been introduced into the game in the 68th-minute in place of new-signing Donny van de Beek, Bruno Fernandes came on and showcased wonderful attacking prowess and elite level movement.

In the clip below you can see how Fernandes’ movement drags RB Leipzig’s usually solid defence out of position which allows Rashford just enough time to execute a fine finish.
