Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given his thoughts after his side stuttered to a boring 0-0 draw against domestic rivals Chelsea in tonight’s Premier League match-up.
The seasonal match-up which usually offers a sporting spectacle failed to spark the excitement of fans after 90-minutes of crowd-less football resulted in a bore 0-0 draw.
United were arguably the better of the two sides and if anybody looked like breaking the dead-lock, it was the Reds.
However, it wasn’t to be after a late Marcus Rashford curled effort was met by a flying save from Chelsea’s new number-one Edouard Mendy.
Speaking after tonight’s game, United manager Solskjaer was quick to suggest that if there were fans inside Old Trafford his side may have been able to ‘get the ball over the line’ but did admit that he felt his side were closest to taking all three-points.
